it feels funny. this period of time is supposedly my most busy period and 'season', but i seems to be blogging more often then before! anyway, im taking time off my stupid marketing strategies and journals that i have to write. no time no time!!
i heard this conversation between these two schoolboy while on the way home today. one guy said something like: "women are so troublesome. they are always the weaker sex!" oh well, i beg to differ. thus, resulting in me wanting to share with u guys about my opinion about the above comment.
firstly, WE ARE NOT THE WEAKER SEX! maybe we are more vulnerable, but we are definitely not weak! i believe that whatever a man can do the women can do it too, sometimes even better. we are very very strong beings, in terms of our determination and tolerance level (it should be high). from what i heard from my mum and my aunties, childbirth is a very very very painful experience. it makes you feel like dying or giving up just like that and leave the baby head there. but no! women still give birth, the fertility rate in singapore is increasing. SEE! for the sake of their children, these women made a lot of sacrifices. ok, maybe u can say that there is always the 'opening of the womb' (i suddenly cant find the word) method. yes! but do you know that these leave ugly and obvious scars? not enough reason? fine! then what about the cramps that we have to go through every month? i tell you! these cramps are unbearable and they wont go away after one or two hours, they are constantly around for one or two days! and on top of that we still have to worry about overflowing. and trust me, women have a very high tolerance level. (except that they are not in the pms mood!) well, i shall not demean the guys here. but women or maybe for those cases that i have seen or heard, women are very gracious and generous creatures! no matter what the guy did to her, she will still accept him and still hope that he will change for the better. (which he never will) women! sometimes i just think that they are too foolish or navie.
secondly, yes! women cry alot. but do you know that studies have shown that women live longer than the men as they are expressive and they show their emotions openly! so would you want to act macho and hide all your feeling and die faster or you want to cry out loud and live longer?
lastly, i know this point is irrelavant but who cares? its ok for men to sleep around and be seen with other girls. but it is NOT ok with a girl sleeps around and be seen with different men each day. she will be labelled as a whore. -- since the ancient times, men can commit adultery and get away with it, but the women have to be drowned if they were caught. in some countries, or maybe most asian countries, parents would dote on their sons more and not daughters. some would even go extra miles just to have a son. yeah. if everyone give birth to male babies, then 30 years down the road, who is gonna give birth to these male babies again? the men? that's why i detest this masuclinity society!
